Bolton Labour Council has allocated a one fund fund of £1.2 million across the Borough, that will be spent on environmental improvements.

The allocation for Breightmet is just over £98,000.

Conservative Councillors voted to remove £48,000 of Breightmet’s budget and spend it instead in Bromley Cross and Bradshaw.

Cllr John Byrne said “we fought hard to stop the Tory robbery of our funds, but now that we have secured the money for Breightmet, I welcome your ideas on how to put this money to best use in Breightmet.”
