Many residents are sharing their experiences of antisocial behaviour with me, on the doorstep and recently at our local police liaison meeting, also known as PACT.

It has become obvious that due to the extensive police budget cuts it is becoming virtually impossible to cope with incidents.

We need a properly funded Police force who are able to robustly deal with those who seek to break the law in our community.

We need effective long-term strategies for community policing and not damaging short-sighted austerity measures.
