Partnership with the VCSE Sector

Labour backs the Bolton Fund administered by Bolton Community and Voluntary Services (CVS)  and we will seek more partners and investors to come on board so that local groups can continue to receive funding and flourish.

Refreshed Bolton’s Fund is now operational, supporting grassroots community services

We will work with CVS to help strengthen local groups and associations and encourage new ones to form, where there are geographical gaps.

Community Alliances are the key to filling geographical gaps. We are committed to our continued partnership and support for Bolton CVS.

We will recognise groups that make a real difference, by developing new reward and incentive systems, and properly equipping.

Volunteer vaults have been launched, assisting and equipping volunteer litter pickers and environmental workers. Certificates of recognition and Civic medals are being used to recognise groups and unsung heroes.
