Bolton Sea Cadets will benefit from a massive funding boost.

The Tonge Ward Councillors, Nick Peel, Martin Donaghy and Emily Mort (pictured) will provide £5000 of the £35000 needed to renew the heating system and make the building fit for purpose.

Cllr Mort said:

“The Bolton Sea Cadets are a fantastic organisation in Tonge with the Haulgh and the wider Bolton community.

“If that building isn’t fit for purpose, if it isn’t heated properly then it may have to close, which would be a huge blow to the community”
