The Albert Halls launch event showed how factors such as economic growth, residents feeling a sense of belonging, and community safety all contribute to the long-term vision for our borough.
Ibby Ismail, Chair of the Bolton Vision Board, said “The showcases at the launch event highlighted Bolton’s potential, demonstrating how the community is already well on its way to achieving the Bolton 2040 Vision.”
The Vision’s six missions are guided by three pillars of prevention, investment, and growth. They include:
- Mission 1: Family-friendly, where every child matters
- Mission 2: Thriving, investment-ready with a growing economy
- Mission 3: Inclusive, with access to culture, leisure and visitor opportunities
- Mission 4: Supportive, empowering and where people feel a sense of belonging
- Mission 5: Safe and protected, with confident, cohesive communities
- Mission 6: Healthy, where our population live well for longer
A series of pop-up events will follow the launch, open to the public and held across the borough, demonstrating the Vision in action.
