Elections for 20 Bolton Council seats will be held on Thursday 5th May 2022.
These elections could change who runs the Council, so you deserve to know what Labour’s plans are if you elect us.
Our pledges below spell out our priorities for Bolton Borough and the towns within it.

Labour will urgently remodel Bolton and Townships town centre regeneration schemes, to make them fit for a post Covid world.
We want the Council to have more powers to tackle empty shops.
Labour is committed to supporting £15 living wage employers across the borough.

We will keep the Bolton Pound in Bolton.

We will build a new cooperative partnership with the community and voluntary Sector (VCSE).
Labour will ensure we give our pre-school children the best start to life.
We will ensure our children are getting the best education at school that they can.
We will invest in our children to give them a well-rounded, diverse upbringing.
Labour will work to ensure that the highways budget is protected and spent on key local priorities.
We will work with the police and local residents’ groups to launch initiatives that prioritise community safety.
We will work with community groups and residents to introduce green initiatives across Bolton.
We will work to restore pride in our neighbourhoods.
We will make sure there are decent homes for Bolton people.
